40 years

The David Evans Court Theatre presents events most weeks of the year and provides a wide range and variety of entertainment. There's something suitable for all ages - from full scale musicals to one person shows, plays to panto and music that covers all tastes from jazz to rock, and much, much more.

Now in its 41st year, The David Evans Court Theatre at Pendley, Tring was established in 1978 and is set in a fine Victorian building dating back exactly 100 years from the date we opened it as a theatre.

Originally a riding school, this wonderful building is set in the attractive woodland estate of Pendley Manor (once the family home of BBC TV sport commentator, Dorian Williams) on the rural outskirts of Tring.

The theatre offers good accessibility throughout as it is essentially “on the flat”  and we have Blue Badge parking spaces immediately opposite the entrance.

We have a mainline station via Euston (35 mins) a few minutes away and are only 25 minutes from both the M25 (Junction 20) and the M1 (Junctions 9 and 12). The theatre has its own large carpark.

We hope you enjoy your visit here and look forward to welcoming you at The Court soon!
